Training Benefits

It is imperative to not only provide quality training to children but to also inspire individuals with opportunities that the game of soccer has to offer. The Rough Riders have the unique ability to provide the following additional benefits to your soccer club:

Senior Games

Your club can have the opportunity to attend ‘Club-Night’ at one of the Rough Rides Men’s and Women’s scheduled home games.

Players from the club can march around the main stadium to demonstrate their affiliation with the Rough Riders while supporting their favorite local Long Island players.

Additional day-of-game opportunities include, but are not limited to, teams acting as ball boys / girls or participating as the Dream Team, where players walk out with a Rough Riders player prior to kick-off.

Community Camps

The Rough Riders provide clubs the opportunity to conduct community based camps.

These camps are highly encouraged by the Rough Riders as they allow club members’ additional training services during school breaks and/or summer months.

Apart from providing a great opportunity to prepare teams prior to the spring and fall season, community camps emphasize the professional training services that the club is offering to the community.

Teddy

The Rough Riders mascot “Teddy” will be making special appearances during intramural clinics to further provide additional excitement to weekly sessions.

Consequently, the intramural program will take on a more appealing interest from children and parents, helping increase weekly player
participation and player registration in the future.

Rough Rider Program

Our Junior Rough Riders program provides opportunities for elite level players from your club, keeping players committed to your community. Your club would be a direct affiliate of the Junior Rough Riders.

Sideline Club

The Sideline Club from the Rough Riders has positioned itself to provide educational services for your club by conducting coaching seminars and clinics in association with the Rough Riders senior teams.

In the past, youth coaches from various soccer clubs have had the privilege of attending the Rough Riders coaches during on-field training sessions while also attending in-depth locker room discussions during home games.

Facilities

Apart from providing an indoor facility to continue training during the winter time, the Rough Riders can formulate age specific leagues and tournaments that meet the ability level of teams within your club.

The Rough Riders have two centrally located indoor facilities; Mitchel Athletic Complex in Uniondale and Cunningham Park in Fresh Meadows.
