Sunday November 22 marked the annual Junior Rough Rider Day at Cunningham Sports Center, Fresh Meadows, NY. The event offers all our Junior Rough Riders Boys / Girls U8 - U13’s the opportunity to interact with each other, participating in friendly scrimmages between neighboring age groups.

The Rough Riders would like to thank all players and families for their particpation in what is one of the highlights of the Rough Rider calender.

"Junior Rough Riders Day at Cunningham was great, showcasing this very nice facility and our outstanding players and teams," said Rough Riders Coaching Director, John Diffley. "The coaches kept the games moving, music was playing and the atmosphere was upbeat. Most importantly, the kids had a lot of fun and really enjoyed the competition and challenges, and tried to excel. We have many outstanding players and watching them compete against younger and older age groups alike was great to see."

"Rough Riders Day is an exciting event for all players. I know my daughter looks forward to it each year," said girls U11 Team / Administrator / Parent, Andrea Saulle. "The young players get to see how different teams play and become aware the Rough Riders is not only a team but a community."
