Plainview, NY (January 22, 2010) - Former Rough Rider Mike Grella and Leeds United set their sights on continuing their run in the FA Cup. This Saturday, January 23rd, Leeds will be taking on the Tottenham Spurs in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Leeds has played competitive and strong soccer throughout the FA Cup, which has included recent victories against Kettering Town, and a stunning win versus Manchester United. The Spurs defeated Peterborough in the third round.
This will be the first meeting between these two clubs since 2003-2004, and is anticipated to be a stellar match. These two clubs have met in the FA Cup four times; Tottenham has won three of those matches.

Playing time for former Rough Riders star Mike Grella is projected to be sparse, as Leeds is welcoming Luciano Becchio to the starting line-up. Regardless if Grella is on the bench or on the field, he has been an important member since joining the club in January of 2009. "Grella has always been a team player and true competitor, dating back to his days with the Rough Riders, said Rough Riders GM Flavio Ferri. "We are very excited to see how his future progresses, and of course for the outcome of this weekends match."
