The Long Island Rough Riders, exclusive USL League Two affiliate of New York City FC, look to rebound from their first loss of the 2019 season against FA Euro New York on May 28.

Long Island suffered a 3-1 loss to Ocean City Nor’easters on May 22. Ocean City jumped out to a 3-0 advantage in the first half on a brace by Deri Corfe. The Rough Riders, who came into the contest with two previous shutout victories, avoided being shutout themselves with a penalty kick converted by Manu Ferriol in stoppage time.
Long Island (2-1-0) is currently in second place in the Eastern Conference Mid Atlantic Division standings behind unbeaten Reading United AC (3-0-0; 9 points).
FA Euro (1-1-2; 5 points) also comes into Tuesday night’s contest off its first loss of the campaign. FA Euro lost to Reading 3-0 on May 25 following consecutive draws with Cedar Stars Rush (0-0 on May 14) and Ocean City (1-1 on May 18).
Following their first road match of the season, the Rough Riders return home for three straight at Hofstra University Soccer Stadium to wrap up the first half of the season, including a rematch against FA Euro New York on June 19.
