PLAINVIEW, N.Y. – The Rough Riders men will resume USL PDL competition on Friday June 26th, when they go on the road to take on Western Mass. The game will be held on the fields of Lusitano Stadium at 7.30 PM
The Rough Riders are currently second with 19 points in 9 games, in the 2015 PDL Mid Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference coming off of four consecutive victories. Western Mass is currently 5th in the Northeast Division of the Eastern Conference with 4 points in 9 games.
“The Western Mass Pioneers have historically been one of the top franchises in the PDL,” said Flavio Ferri, Rough Riders General Manager. “Despite not having a great season, they will be a very tough test for us on the road. However, we are determined earn a victory so as to remain on track for a spot in the playoffs.”
The Rough Riders are heading into this exciting cross-divisional game with immense expectations, looking to continue their winning ways on their way to the 2015 PDL playoffs.
The next Rough Riders home game will be held on Friday, July 10th at CY Donnelly Stadium on the campus of St. Anthony’s High School at 7.00 PM.
