About Super Y League

Founded in 1999, the Super Y League is an elite national youth soccer league operated by United Soccer League.

Designed as a player pathway to the newly formed USL Academy, the Super Y League is dedicated to the progression of future professional players with the opportunity to compete for a North American Championship in Tampa, Florida each year in December.

Affiliated with U.S. Soccer, the Super Y League has opened countless doors for players to be identified for U.S. National Team programs.  Members include youth academies of Major League Soccer and United Soccer League Championship, League One and League Two clubs along with a host of non-affiliated USL youth clubs to form a competitive regional divisions across the United States.

The Rough Riders, Long Island’s only USL franchise, invites players who aspire to train and play in a professional environment during the summer months with an ultimate goal to be crown North American Champions.   Currently structured as a summer supplemental program, the Super Y League allows players from other clubs to join without interfering with a year-round club nor does it affect USYSA, US Club, ECNL, GA, or any other player card registration process.
