Women Set For Last Regular Season Game

PLAINVIEW, N.Y. – After securing their spot in the Playoffs, the Rough Riders women will resume W-League competition for their last regular game of the season on Sunday, July 12th at 4.00 PM, when they go on the road to take on New York Magic.  This great rematch will be held on the campus of Iona College.

The Rough Riders are currently 3rd in the 2015 W-League Northeastern Conference, having earned 19 points in 11 games. New York Magic is currently 6th with 4 points out of 11 games.

“We opened the season at home against the Magic and now we are closing out the regular season going to them,” said Flavio Ferri, Rough Riders General Manager.  “Regardless of the standings, the Magic are always tough to play, especially at home.  We are expecting a very competitive game.”
