* 2026 Player Registration Restructure
Beginning with the 2026 season, USL Youth will transition its player registration cycle to run from August 1 through July 31 each year, replacing the current birth year–based age group system. This change aligns USL Youth with the broader direction of U.S. youth soccer, creating a more consistent and seamless experience for players, families, and clubs when moving between organizations. The 2025 season marked the final year under the birth year cycle, with the new August-to-July format fully taking effect in 2026. As a result, upcoming tryouts will reflect and showcase this updated registration structure.
The Select team is a 6-7 week seasonal training program in June – July focused on delivering high level training and competitive games. The team will compete in the USL Y League with the opportunity to compete for a national championship in Tampa, Florida.
A pre-season camp will run during the first week of the program.
When: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays
Tentative Times: 5:00pm-9:00pm (time specific to age group)
Location: Includes: Globall Sports Center, Mitchell Athletics Complex, and Bethpage Polo Grounds
