The Long Island Rough Riders are proud to announce that USL League Two Head Coach Chris Megaloudis has been appointed as the new Head Coach of the Adelphi University Men’s Soccer program.
Chris has been an integral part of the Rough Riders organization, leading our USL League Two team with professionalism, passion, and an unwavering commitment to player development. During seasons 2024, 2025 and 2026, he guided the club to a division championship and multiple USL League Two playoff appearances, while helping more than 30 players continue their careers in the professional game.
His ability to develop talent, build winning environments, and foster meaningful relationships has made a lasting impact on our players, staff, and the wider soccer community.

This is a fantastic appointment for both Chris and Adelphi University. We have no doubt he will continue to make a tremendous impact.”
Megaloudis brings a wealth of collegiate and professional coaching experience to Adelphi. Most recently, he served as Head Coach at Molloy University, leading the Lions to an ECC Championship appearance in 2024. Prior to that, he was an assistant coach at Adelphi, helping guide the Panthers to an NCAA Tournament victory, while also enjoying tremendous success as Head Coach of Nassau Community College’s women’s program.
