The Rough Riders are wasting no time building their roster as they set their sights on reclaiming the conference title.
The Men’s Long Island Rough Riders have announced the re-signing of four players ahead of the upcoming USL League Two season, signaling a clear intent to challenge for the conference title after a strong 2025 campaign.
Ethan Wood – Goalkeeper
The backbone of the Rough Riders’ backline is staying put. Ethan Wood, the club’s number one from the 2025 season, has committed to another year on Long Island. Wood was a commanding presence between the sticks last season, delivering several standout performances that proved crucial in the team’s playoff push. His return brings stability and experience to a squad with big ambitions.
Evan Chrysostomou – Midfielder/Defender
Now entering his second year as a Rough Rider, Evan Chrysostomou has become a player the club simply can’t afford to lose. Known for his relentless energy and ability to contribute at both ends of the pitch, Chrysostomou brings the kind of attacking drive and defensive work rate that coaches dream about. With the conference title firmly in the club’s crosshairs, his versatility will be a major asset throughout the campaign.
Thomas O’Rourke – Midfielder
Fresh off an Elite Eight appearance with the University of Akron, Thomas O’Rourke returns to the Rough Riders midfield with momentum and confidence behind him. A creative force in the center of the park, O’Rourke has a nose for goal and a knack for unlocking defenses with his passing range. After proving himself at the college level on one of the biggest stages, expect him to bring that same big-game mentality to the Rough Riders this summer.
Dino Feratovic – Defender
After a solid debut season in the Rough Riders’ backline, Dino Feratovic is back and ready to build on that foundation. The defender showed composure and physicality throughout 2025, and with another preseason under his belt, he looks set to take his game to the next level. His continued presence gives the defense a reliable and hardworking presence as the club pushes for silverware.

With four familiar faces already locked in, the Rough Riders are laying the groundwork for what promises to be an exciting 2026 season. Stay tuned for further roster announcements as the club continues to shape its squad ahead of the new campaign.
