Adam Allaway Joins as Program Director

UNIONDALE, N.Y. – (Monday, March 7, 2022) –

Ahead of the highly anticipated annual Summer Camp, the Rough Riders are excited to have Adam Allaway join as Camp Director.

“Over the past two years, one of the questions I get the most from parents interested in our youth programs is if Adam Allaway will be back and involved, so there’s no question that we are ecstatic to have him back from the UK directing our Summer Camps,” said Assistant General Manger Tanner Sands. “With him overseeing our Summer Camps, we are confident that every person involved will have a phenomenal experience.”

As Camp Director, Allaway will lead the direction of the camp from curriculum and themes to coaches and schedule.

Originally from Watford, England, Allaway is a UEFA qualified coach, which is just one level below the UEFA Pro license. His coaching experience includes Head Coach of the Leverstock Green Academy U16 team, UCFB Women’s Academy Coach and Head Coach of the Step 4 Club Men’s First Team.

Additionally, in 2019, he was with the Rough Riders as a coach for the Select team and a coach for the Summer Camps.

“I aim to return with the same passion, commitment but with added knowledge to further the amazing camps and programs the Rough Riders have established,” said Allaway. “My relationships with the club, parents and players from 2019 continues to positively highlight my growth as a coach and I can’t wait to continue and build new relations with everyone involved at the Rough Riders.”

The Rough Rider’s Summer Camp is a great way for players of all ability levels to improve their skills during the summer months while training with elite coaches. With a refined curriculum and games, players build their confidence and have fun with friends.

“I’m excited for the announcements of many more English coaches coming this out this June, to meet the players and provide a fun environment for maximum development at the Rough Riders 2022 Summer Camps,” said Allaway. “A great camp session has three key aspects: intensity, relationships, and enjoyment. I plan to implement all three to ensure that all nine weeks of Summer Camps everyone walks away with a smile on their face.”

Summer camps begin June 27 and run through August 26. Camp is currently 10% off until April 1st and will be the last sale of the season, so register now!
