Celebrating Leah Jaskolski: 2025 Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Honoree

UNIONDALE, N.Y. – Our club is thrilled to announce Leah Jankowski as our 2025 Woman Entrepreneur of the Year honoree. Leah’s story is one of passion, perseverance, and the power of community—values that inspire us both on and off the field.

A Lifelong Love for Sport

Leah’s journey began at just two years old, when her boundless energy led her mother to enroll her in gymnastics. “I was flipping all over the house,” Leah recalls, “and my mom decided to put me into gymnastics.” The sport quickly became more than just an outlet; it shaped her very character, teaching her confidence, resilience, discipline, and the importance of perseverance.

Building a Legacy—One Balance Beam at a Time

At only 21, Leah took a leap of faith and purchased Silver Stars Gymnastics. She likens her entrepreneurial path to a balance beam routine: “Narrow, challenging, and requiring constant focus.” Each decision was a leap, each risk a turn, and every setback an opportunity to recover and grow stronger. Through the ups and downs, Leah never lost sight of her mission: to create a safe, happy, and thriving space for children in her community.

Creating Joy and Lasting Memories

Leah’s impact goes far beyond teaching skills and routines. She’s fostered an environment where laughter and camaraderie flourish. She fondly remembers one particularly funny moment: “My gymnasts were piling up mats at the end of practice, and one mat fell onto the fire extinguisher, making it unload into the gym. It was a messy clean up, but the coaches and gymnasts were laughing for days after that.”

Looking to the Future

Leah’s vision extends well beyond the present. Her goal is to build a generational gymnastics facility—a place that grows with families and becomes part of their story. “We want to be more than just a class or a season of activity,” Leah says. “We want to be the place where kids take their first forward roll, where siblings follow in each other’s footsteps, and where former students return as parents, coaches, and mentors.”

Honoring a True Community Champion

Leah Jankowski embodies everything we celebrate on Women’s Night: leadership, dedication, and the ability to uplift those around her. Please join us on June 11 as we honor Leah and all the women who make our community stronger.

Congratulations, Leah, and thank you for inspiring us all!
