All campers must be checked in everyday by a parent or guardian at the front desk / check-in table before the start of camp.
Campers are provided with bathroom breaks during scheduled snack and lunch times. If a camper needs to use the restroom outside of scheduled breaks, they will be granted permission and supervised by staff at all times.
A certified physical trainer is present at each camp, and all coaching staff are First Aid certified. In the event of an injury requiring medical attention, parents/guardians will be notified immediately.

Please be mindful that not all GPS devices properly identify the facility location. Globall Sports Centers is directly located across from the Long Island Children’s Museum on the left-hand side of Charles Lindbergh Blvd. Give ample time if it’s your first time to the facility to avoid delays.

Indoor Camps (November-May)
| Clothing: | Athletic clothing suitable for indoor play. All indoor facilities are climate-controlled. |
| Footwear & Gear: | Turf shoes, plastic cleats or sneakers. Shin guards are mandatory. Soccer balls are provided. |
| Drinks: | A clearly labeled water bottle (electrolyte drinks permitted). |
| Food: | Morning & afternoon snack breaks (nut-free snacks required). Full-day campers must bring their own lunch. Lunch is not provided. No food sharing permitted |
Outdoor Summer Camps (May – October)
| Clothing: | Athletic clothing appropriate for weather conditions. |
| Footwear & Gear: | Grass fields: Cleats required. Turf fields: Turf shoes, indoor shoes, or sneakers. Shin guards are mandatory. Hats and sunscreen are recommended |
| Drinks: | Campers must bring enough fluids to remain hydrated throughout the day; water coolers will be present on-site for use, too. Water breaks occur approximately every 20 minutes. |
| Food: | Nut-free snacks required. Full-day campers must bring their own lunch. Lunch is not provided. No food sharing permitted |
Campers are grouped by age, gender, ability level, and teammate requests when possible. Groups may be adjusted throughout the week to ensure the best learning and camp experience. Groups rotate through coaches to allow exposure to different teaching styles and skill sets.
All campers must have a completed Long Island Rough Riders online waiver on file prior to the first day of camp.
Waivers are valid for one calendar year and are mandatory for participation. Please click here to access the online waiver.
Campers are expected to:
The Long Island Rough Riders reserve the right to dismiss any camper for unsafe or disruptive behavior. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
Please label all personal items. The Long Island Rough Riders are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Electronic devices (phones, tablets, smart watches) are not permitted during camp hours unless required for emergency contact. Staff are not responsible for electronic devices brought to camp.
The Long Island Rough Riders reserve the right to cancel camp dates due to low enrollment. In such cases, families may select an alternate date or receive a full refund.
Rain:
Light rain: Camp continues as scheduled
Heavy rain: Campers will shelter; parents will be contacted for early pick-up
Thunderstorms / Lightning: Campers will immediately be removed from the field and sheltered. Parents will be notified for pick-up.
Extreme Heat:
Curriculum and schedules may be modified to prioritize safety, including increased water breaks and reduced intensity. If a camp day is cut short due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, every effort will be made to make up time. If not possible, no refunds or credits will be issued.
