LONG ISLAND, NY — The Long Island Rough Riders are excited to announce the additions of Eve Waldhauser and Elliana DosSantos to the club for the upcoming 2026 USL W League season.

A 22-year-old goalkeeper from Woodbury, Long Island, Waldhauser joins the Rough Riders with strong local roots and high-level collegiate experience. She currently plays at Hofstra University after transferring from Michigan, and previously competed for both NY Surf and Long Island Soccer Club (LISC). Her experience, shot-stopping presence, and familiarity with the Long Island soccer landscape make her an exciting addition to the squad.

Also joining the Riders this summer is Elliana DosSantos, an 18-year-old midfielder / outside back from Northport, New York. A versatile player with the ability to contribute in multiple roles, she brings energy, flexibility, and strong potential in her first season with the Riders.

Together, Waldhauser and DosSantos add valuable quality, local connection, and depth to the Rough Riders roster as the club continues to build for the 2026 campaign. Their backgrounds reflect the strong player pathway on Long Island and the club’s commitment to bringing in talented players who can make an immediate impact.

The Rough Riders are proud to welcome Eve and Elliana to blue and white and look forward to seeing both players represent the club this summer.
